The programs, designed for small businesses, include tools for document sharing, group scheduling, task management, database applications, discussion forums and contact directories.
Intranets.com, which entered the Web conference business last year, said it's been growing non-stop for more than four years. Last year, Inc. magazine included the company in its list of the 500 fastest growing companies.

This Online Application suite offers a range of  business productivity tools to the individual user and includes a Web Meeting application, document manager, task manager, online calendar, and contact manager. Users can conduct Web meetings with up to five participants.
MeetMeNow provides instant Web meetings for individual professionals and small businesses that need to collaborate with prospects, customers, and partners anytime and from any place. Up to 10 attendees per meeting are allowed. Easy to launch, MeetMeNow provides for integrated availability from instant messaging clients from MSN, AOL, and Yahoo; Outlook; and straight from the desktop (via the system tray). The service allows users to share their entire desktop in real-time, complete with rich annotation pass control of documents or applications to any attendees in real time.

picWebEx, a provider of real-time collaboration technology, islaunching a line of products Tuesday focused on serving small businesses and professionals.

The company, which dominates the online meeting market for big and medium-size enterprises, kicked off its strategy to serve smaller business with its acquisition of Intranets.com in August. Intranets specializes in on-demand collaboration applications for small businesses.

Under a new division the company introduced Online Application suite to allow small businesses and individuals, respectively, to access collaboration and web-meeting tools over the Internet without installing any hardware or software.

This process of making software available over the Internet, popularly called on-demand software, has recently picked up speed, especially with small- and medium-size businesses that want low cost and flexibility. Research firm IDC expects the market for on-demand software to reach $10.7 billion in 2009.
